Alitora Systems seeks to engage the development community by providing freely accessible tools and services utilizing our semantic network.
We have recently launched a wiki for developers. The wiki includes software documentation and downloads, and links to open source projects.
The wiki can be accessed at: http://wiki.alitora.com
We believe the next generation of web applications will necessarily depend on the free exchange of data incorporating true semantic information as the next level of metadata beyond protocol, syntax (such XML), and folksonomy tags.
To enable the exchange of semantic metadata, we are creating the UMIS standard to allow semantic information to be shared across multiple applications across the nascent Semantic Web.
To enable retrieving semantic information, we are launching multiple APIs accessible via multiple technologies, such as Webservices / SOAP, REST, and with data marked up in several formats such as plain XML, RDF, and OWL.
